This holiday season 24 people received the gift of a job thanks to Goodwill’s Career Connections and employer partners AArow Sign Spinners, Alorica, AtWork, DRI Tech, Fanatics, G4S, and See Us Now Staffing. 120 job seekers attended the half day hiring event held December 14, 2017, seeking work at one of the most difficult times of year to get a job. The 96 people who were not immediately hired are eligible to take advantage of Goodwill’s free job training and placement services thanks to contributions by Gift of a Job sponsors Breakthru Beverage Nevada, Cragin & Pike, NV Energy, and Southwest Gas Corporation.
G4S, the world’s leading security solutions organization was on hand looking to hire qualified individuals to help keep Las Vegas safe.
Goodwill career coaches worked with job seekers to register them for Goodwill job development programs.
Fanatics, the world’s leader in licensed sports merchandise, was on hand seeking employees for their distribution center in North Las Vegas.
